Class Charter

In Larch, the children learn how important their rights are and know that these are given, not earned. We review our rights daily and talk about how we can make sure we have our rights.

Article 6 – Every child has the right to life. In Larch we have the right to stay safe, to look after each other and be kind. 

Article 12 – Every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them. In Larch we have the right to give our opinion, and for adults to listen and take it seriously. 

Article 24 – Every child has the right to the best possible health. In Larch we have the right to eat healthy food and drink clean water. 

Article 28 – Every child has the right to a good education. 

Article 31 – We have the right to rest and play. Every child has the right to relax, play and take part in a wide range of cultural and artistic activities.
