The Y3/4 finished 2nd in Middlesbrough schools and then went on to represent Middlesbrough in the Tees Valley competition where they finished 2nd overall. All 3 boys placed in their individual events taking home gold, silver and bronze medals.
The school’s Y5/6 also competed at the same event.
Both of our Y3/4 and Y5/6 teams represented the school in the Middlesbrough Indoor athletics competition.
The Y5/6 team finished 5th in the championship event giving us our highest position in this event to date.
The Y3/4 team finished 4th in the championship event, again giving us our highest position in this event to date.
This year saw out first time entering the table Tennis competition. A team of Y5 and 6s went to Ormesby Table tennis Club and managed to win a bronze medal in the plate 1 competition. Both Mr Corcoran and Mr Adams were very proud of this achievement.
Sixteen of our Y3 children were invited to take part in a Middlesbrough School’s skipping festival. Again, this was an event that we have not attended before and it turned out to be a fantastic afternoon.
