British Values

Children in Pine are taught British Values through our wide and varied curriculum.  We learn the value of mutual respect by learning abouteveryone playing a role and how each role is important to the overall running of everyday life. During our Towers, Tunnels and Turrets topic we learn about the respect of one another and how each role of the people living within the castle  needs to be established in order to protect the castle from invaders.
In Pine we earn House Points which contribute towards a team goal across the whole school. We are awarded these for positive learning attitudes and for showing respect and tolerance towards others.  We continue to learn about rules and laws and why we have them, including the importance of keeping to them. We learn about a wide range of religions and faiths and are encouraged to celebrate diversity and consider similarities and differences between them.

Our School Parliament:

Logan and Moise are our School Parliament Members.  Logan will attend a meeting each week supported by Moise and then feed back to the class.  They will then take the views of the children to Parliament.
